What Art Means to Me
My goal is to create works that are visually striking and evoke a bright and happy calmness for the viewer. Since my work is abstract, each individual has a unique perception and it’s always interesting to note what draws someone in. I find it fascinating to hear the feedback and lively discussion on my finished works.
My background is in fashion design, so color, shape, light, and movement are what bring me joy. Throughout the creative process – I allow each piece to evolve in whimsical ways so that each one is its own work.
I relish that some of my pieces can be relocated and repositioned in various ways, interchangeable by moving panels in another position or direction. And when I use interference pigments, my art can have different colorations depending on the reflection of light; ie; what may appear purple from the right could appear grey or silver from the left.
I strive to bring uplifting energy, beauty, color and light to my collectors’ lives & homes.
